Montreal's scruffy surfin' bird has consolidated his garagey, psychedelic image. Back-up band la sale affaire (sic) crunch out a surfing guitar and twitchy rhythm that owes some coin to The Mongols and the Phantom, and a bit of change to the theme from Batman.
