A musical exchange celebrating the French chanson takes over the Spectrum beginning September 7. In the ten days that follow, Les Francofolies de Montréal will present nine events spanning the breadth of pop music from francophone nations around the world This musical summit brings together talent from the continents of Africa, Europe and North America, with their hip sounds of soukous, zouk, rock and pop. Each night an international guest will be paired with a Quebecois artist -- Véronique Sanson with Edith Butler, Jacques Higelin with Michel Pagliaro, Loketo with Pellegrin El Kady, and Noir Désir with Jean Leloup (pictured).
